The Condominium Authority of Ontario has released it’s Annual Report for 2024-2025 citing that there are presently 13,318 condominium corporations in the province of Ontario.

“Since the Condo Act came into force in 1998, Ontario’s condo sector has grown susbstantially as condo living has become an increasingly popular form of home ownership. Today, 1.82 million people in Ontario live in condos, and 47 percent of new homes constructed are condos. According to the data collected by the CAO, the number of condo corporations grew by 10.2% over the last five years.”

Fun fact – there are less than 2,700 fully licensed Condominium Property Managers in the province available to manage those 13,318 Corporations! Many of those corporations require their own dedicated, full-time manager, leaving thousands of other, smaller communities without access to licensed management services.
